桑德拉•米勒

桑德拉•米勒 performs on modern and historical flutes, 在管弦乐, 室内乐, and recital settings. A pioneer in the revival of performing on 18th century flutes, she was a founding member of New York’s Concert Royal ensemble and has continued to perform with many North American ensembles, both domestically and in Europe, 亚洲, and South America. Recipient of a Solo Recitalist's Fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts, First Prize in the Bodky Competition for Early 音乐, and a New York recital debut sponsored by the Concert Artists Guild, she joined Juilliard’s Historical Performance faculty in 2009. Her strong commitment to teaching is reflected by previous appointments at the SUNY Purchase Conservatory of 音乐, the Mannes 大学 of 音乐, the New England Conservatory of 音乐, in CUNY’s doctoral program, as Kulas 参观 Artist at Case Western Reserve University, and in many historical-instrument summer workshops and festivals. Her solo recordings include the complete Bach flute sonatas and, on six- and eight-keyed classical flutes, the three Mozart concertos.
