Brandon Ridenour

Stylistically diverse as a soloist, collaborative artist, 作曲家, 和编曲, Brandon Ridenour (BM ’07, trumpet) is originally from Grand Rapids, 密歇根. Immediately after graduating from Juilliard, he began touring with the Canadian 黄铜 and embarked on a solo career. He’s been a featured soloist with the National Symphony Orchestra, Los Angeles Philharmonic, 室内乐 Society of Lincoln Center, 俄耳甫斯, Orchestra of St. Luke’s, Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, and many more. In addition to being on the Juilliard, Manhattan School of 音乐, and New School faculties, he is also co-director of a performer-作曲家 focused ensemble based in Brooklyn called Founders. He’s worked with an array of musicians including Sting, 詹姆斯·泰勒, Marvin Hamlisch, 马友友, Esperanza Spalding, 布鲁斯Cockburn, 卡罗琳·肖, and Vienna Teng as well as ensembles including the New York Philharmonic, International Contemporary Ensemble, 骑士, Mahler Chamber Orchestra, y音乐, and Publiquartet. Ridenour joined the American 黄铜 Quintet and the Juilliard faculty in 2023.
